Fudoshin Kendo

Damian Carmody-Stephens and Brett Smith both 4th dans at the time, founded Fudoshin Kendo in Melbourne in 1994.

At Fudoshin Kendo we constantly remind ourselves that the reason for the club's existence is Kendo. We are a group of individuals brought together by a mutual passion and are committed to the process of improvement.

We endeavour to pursue our greatest imaginable challenges, whether it is to represent one's country at a World Kendo Championship, or to be successful at a 6th Kyu grading. We strive to create an environment where everyone's challenges are recognised and everyone has the opportunity and support required to pursue them.

Fudoshin Kendo is affiliated with the Victorian Kendo Renmei and the Australian Kendo Renmei.
