(AKR) and Affiliated Associations and clubs\/dojo, is primarily for the purpose of recording membership and grade registration. That information is necessary for managing the affairs of the AKR and pursuing the objects of the AKR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Collection and Use of Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The AKR collects members\u2019 information either directly or indirectly from Affiliated\u00a0Associations for the purpose of identification, recording membership, registering grades and\u00a0establishing eligibility for examination.<\/li>\n<li>Members\u2019 information will only be used by AKR and Affiliated Associations for the above\u00a0purposes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\"><strong>Information collected<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">The AKR and Affiliated Associations collects the following details of members:<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">\n<ul>\n<li>Name.<\/li>\n<li>Date of birth.<\/li>\n<li>Kendo, Iaido and Jodo grades.<\/li>\n<li>Name of the members Affiliated Association.<\/li>\n<li>Name of the members club or dojo.<\/li>\n<li>Contact details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Security of Information<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">The AKR and Affiliated Associations endeavour to protect any members\u2019 information that<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">they hold from:<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">\n<ul>\n<li>Misuse.<\/li>\n<li>Loss.<\/li>\n<li>Disclosure.<\/li>\n<li>Modification.<\/li>\n<li>Unauthorised use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Disclosure of Members Information<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Members Information collected by the AKR and Affiliated Associations will not:<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">\n<ul>\n<li>Be released for any form of commercial gain.<\/li>\n<li>Be disclosed to any person or organisation, for any purpose that is unrelated to AKR\u00a0Kendo, Iaido and Jodo activities, except with prior consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Members Information collected by the AKR and Affiliated Associations will be shared with<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">and accessed by:<\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">\n<ul>\n<li>Officers of the State Affiliate that registered a member.<\/li>\n<li>Officers of other AKR State Affiliates.<\/li>\n<li>Officers of the AKR.<\/li>\n<li>Members of the AKR Kendo, Iaido and Jodo Boards.<\/li>\n<li>The auditors of AKR finance reports.<\/li>\n<li>Government Departments, if required to by Regulation or Legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Access to Members\u2019 Information<\/strong><\/div>\n<div id=\"_mcePaste\">\n<ol>\n<li>A member can gain access to their personal information held by the AKR and Affiliated Associations by applying in writing, through the Affiliated Association that registered their details with the AKR, to the AKR Secretary.<\/li>\n<li>Any other query relating to the AKR Privacy Policy should be made to the AKR Secretary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Personal information collected by the Australian Kendo Renmei Inc.
